One Thursday morning last year, I felt prompted to check my personal Instagram to happily receive a message from Ruth (founder of Magnify magazine) to help out with her event that evening with her event.
I've only recently got back into the 9-5 role after doing my MA full time for a year, and focusing on my events business; this week I felt tired, but since I've known of Ruth's existence online for so many years, I felt it would be great to support another black female CEO execute her vision and socialise.
Mrs Tara Durotoye CEO and founder of House of Tara Intl
I find it amazing how the word of God is ever sooo refreshing, it would be so rude of me to compare my description to limiting it to 'like peeling an onion layer by layer' because it just goes on and on and on. Whilst I was downstairs in the beautiful Magnify Collective house; when I had finished, I had popped into the intimate dinner to hear literally the last 5 mins of Mrs Durtoye speaking about being a woman of faith in business and she spoke about walking in your God-given identity. BOOM! You know how much that struck me as a young women. If you speak to many of the guests, they most probably would tell you something completely different from what I heard because I was absent at the time of the major discussion; but we all know that God's time is what? THE BEST!

Final notes

How dare you not do it today to think that tomorrow is promised to you.
